SCCM 2007 central site move to new hardware with same configuration

We having ABC (central Primary site ) and EFG ( Child primary site) in current setup (Native mode). Due to hardware support we need to decommission server on which ABC is hosted.  We want to move ABC site to new server without keeping same server same / IP  due to some limitation.  Assume XYZ is new site name. We are planning below steps for move. Please check if steps are correct and all objects like database, package, users, collection will be replicate. Basically we want to behave XYZ same as ABC so we can decommission ABC.

  1. Create New site XYZ as primary site. Configure all site systems and site settings except boundaries.
  2. Detach child site EFG from ABC and attach to XYZ.
  3. Attach ABC to XYZ as Child site. Assign client to XYZ
  4. Remove Boundaries from ABC and assign boundaries XYZ
  5. Allow collection and software distribution object to replicate to XYZ.
  6. Detach ABC and reconfigure site setting for parent XYZ.
  7. Decommission ABC.

that should Work, just make sure packages are not configured to allways re-install (seen that happen at one Customer once).

Is it possible to get more deatails steps about how to do replication?

the data is replicated automatically - it takes a Little while to finish the process. Monitor the sender.log and depool.log files on the parent and child sites to verify the process.
