SCCM 2007 SP2 and MS SQL 2008 SP2
Hi guys, according to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee344146.aspx SCCM 2007 SP2 with MS SQL 2008 SP2 is not supported. I haven`t tested this scenerio yet, so my question is did somebody succeed with this configuration ? Or even better made successful upgrade from MS SQL 2008 SP1 to SP2 ? I will test this in my lab environment in following days, but before that I`m curious if it is even possible and if it is worth to try to do that :) Thank you.

No official support statement was announced yet. It will still be unsupported even it will work in your testlab. Which benefits would you expect from using SQL 2008 SP2?

To be honest, none. May be the fuzzy feeling we are using up-to-date software. It was just question, because at customer`s site we use SQL 2008 SP1 and I was questioned if it's possible to upgrade to SP2. I will probably try it in my lab anyway, just for curiosity :) So thank you for your answer.
