Hi,No, you don't need to manually configure any ODBC connection when configuring SQL and ConfigMgr.Kent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/members/Agerlund/default.aspx | The Danish community for System Center products

Hi Kent, so that means that there's no chance to change the SQL Server communication port if needed? Regards Alex

There is a system DSN set up for communication between the SMS Provider and the SQL Server; however, port numbers for SQL server are discoverable by SQL clients using the SQL browser service on the SQL server: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms165724(SQL.90).aspx.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys
