SCCM 2007 HOWTO build collections of non-clients based on current ip address range\subnets?
Hello, we are deploying SCCM in an environment that was previously managed by SMS 2003. Due to a AD Sites\Network configuration out of our control we would like to use IP address ranges as a method to segregate our potential clients and deploy the new clients a few subnets a time. I understand that a good way to query for CLIENTS by IP address might be the following: SMS_G_System_NETWORK_ADAPTER_CONFIGURATION.IPAddress like "172.29.1.%" As expected, I am not getting any results when querying NON-CLIENTS with the following: (SMS_R_System.Client = 0 or SMS_R_System.Client is null ) and SMS_G_System_NETWORK_ADAPTER_CONFIGURATION.IPAddress like "172.29.1.%" Also, not getting ACCURATE results for CURRENT\LATEST IP Address with the following: (SMS_R_System.Client = 0 or SMS_R_System.Client is null ) and SMS_R_System.IPAddresses like "172.29.1.%" Is there a way to pick up the LATEST IP address from the DDR in a manner that we may query for it to collect based on it?

SMS_G_System_NETWORK_ADAPTER_CONFIGURATION.IPAddress is collected by inventory not discovery which is why it's not working. In SQL the view to see IP of computers without the client installed is v_RA_System_IPAddresses but in WQL I'm not sure what it is. Did you try SMS_R_System.IPAddresses?
