SCCM 2007 Can't install Threat Management Gateway (TMG client) using task sequence build windows 7
I used both types of setup files TMGClient_ENU_x86.exe and it's unpacked msi version MS_FWC.msi , but after all steps it is not present on the computer (All other packages including forefront security client and sccm client and OS installs perfectly the problem is with only TGM client) here is screen shot with properties of my package http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/362/sccmtmg.jpg

Hi, why you did not create a package from definition for MS_FWC.msi, the programs will be created automatically, and you can use this package in your task sequence. Hi,I see any problem, your 4 packages are well in your standard distribution point (\\Servername\) point and also the boot image is well in your pxe share distribution point (\\Servername\SMSPXEIMAGE$)Regards.Bechir Gharbi. to>Bechir Gharbi , i din't understand what you want me to do, but i have found solution myself: When i opened properties of my package, and flagged the option to use sources (see screen shot pic 1) and provided the same directory? it worked ! i had now 5 of 5 packages available for my standalone media (see screen shot pic 2).However i have still 2 questions? how can I make this package when it is installed with operating system during task sequence? to enter the server which my TMG client should hook up? so i do not do it manually after it installs (see screen shot pic 3), maybe i should enter some command line key as i did when configuring sccm client package (see screen shot pic 4), so which parameter including tmg server domain name should i enter and where? screen shot picshttp://img693.imageshack.us/img693/9375/tmgcliinstall.jpg

Unfortunately i need to enter specified server name, of my TMG server, or it is no possible by the means of sccm?it was for sccm client like this CCMSETUP.EXE /noservice SMSSITECODE=AUTOso can i enter parameter in TMG client package options that can configure it for server specified by me?something like this - msiexec.exe /q ALLUSERS=2 /m MSILKEOX /i "MS_FWC.msi (and add here the key which contains the name of server to which this client should hook up)or it is not possible?

Hi,try to use this command line :msiexec /i ms_fwc.msi SERVER_NAME_OR_IP=Name of ISA Server ENABLE_AUTO_DETECT=0 REFRESH_WEB_PROXY=0 /qb /L*v c:\fwcinstl.logParameters are used in the commands as follows:· Path = Location of the Firewall Client installation file. A value must be specified.· SERVER_NAME_OR_IP=ISAServerName = Name or IP address of the ISA Server computer to which the client computer should connect.· ENABLE_AUTO_DETECT = Specify a value of 1 to indicate that the Firewall client computer should automatically detect the ISA Server computer to which it should connect. A value of 0 indicates that automatic detection is not enabled on the client.· REFRESH_WEB_PROXY = Specify a value of 1 to indicate that the Firewall client configuration should be updated with the Web proxy configuration settings specified in ISA Server Management. A value of 0 indicates that the client is not updated. Bechir Gharbi. MCSA, MCSE M+S, MCITP Server/Enterprise Administrator, MCT, MCTS Configuration Manager/Forefront (Time Zone : GMT+1)
