SCCM 2007 - Remote Tools Connection Problem
Hi @ all,i`ve got a realy annoying problem with the SCCM 2007 R2 (installed on Windows Server 2008) RemoteTools, the reason for i am searching for a long time yet. It`s very fretful because all the other features are working fine. When I try to connect a Win-XP-Pro-Client with a user logged on with the RemoteTools he asks the client to allow (thats ok so far). After confirming the Client has an opened Remote-Session(active icon in the statusrange of the Windows start-bar)but the background in the RemoteTools-console change black >> after a few seconds functionally remotecontrol <<, with the popup "the remoteclient is locked or no user logged in". Furthermore the Icon for an active Remote-Session remains in the Windows start-bar on the client.I`ve checked nearly everything, what`s proposed in my books, documentations and here in the forum:I logged on a user with domain-admin-rights at the clientI checked the registry for SMS "Remote Control", everything enabled and access-level is set to 2, tooI checked the permissions for allowed remote-users, everything fineI checked the RemoteControl.log File, everything looks greatHas someone the same problem or is able to help me?Thanks for your help an kind regardsChristian

Hi Felipe, the Windows-Firewall on the clients is inactive (per Group-Policy), an i`ve checked this, too. An other internal Firewall doesn`t exist. Also the Clients have all MS Updates (inl. SP3 and later) installed to except incompatibility in that case. It seems he doesn`s cognize or forward the actually logged on User Regards, Christian
