SCCM - Updates Download Failed - All Domain computers

Hi.

Suddenly I started to experience errors when downloading the daily update of Endpoint Protection on all domain computers. Then I realize that is for all packages on my SCCM.

On deployment status the clients remain in "error" tab with message "Failed to download update(s)." 0x80070005

On the client side I can see this error messages:

ContentTransferManager.log:

CTM job {46D9F37A-02CF-4EE1-B172-0A9B2A6B4316} encountered error 0x80070005 during download ('Error processing manifest.')- The error maps to denied access.

DataTransferService.log:

Error sending DAV request. HTTP code 401, status 'Unauthorized'
The network access account is not defined.

They are all domain computers and it was working perfectly. Really don't understand what happened.

I setup the network access account and didn't work either.

I change my DP to "Allow clients to connect anonymously" and didn't work. Nevertheless it was working ok last monday with this setting disabled.

Thanks for your help.

0x80070005 = Access Denied

The log also refers to issue with the network access account. If this was the case you would also have problems with software distribution and operating system deployment. Try using a different account.

Hi Gerry.

I have configured "Use the computer account of the Configuration Manager Client". Never changed this setting and it has been working for almost a year.

I will change to a domain admin account and report back to you.

Seting up a network access account to a domain admin account (with privileges in system folders and iis directories), it didn't work.

Erros on DataTransferService.log on client side:

Error sending DAV request. HTTP code 401, status 'Unauthorized'
GetDirectoryList_HTTP('http://xxx:80/SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/b2543696-4c2e-4f11-a3c8-71d8c6111522') failed with code 0x80070005.
Job {3664EC06-B454-4E10-AF7B-DBE19162D115} reverted impersonation.

Thanks

Do u use MacAfee or any antivirus in all your client computers ?. If you do so, make sure Mcafee doesn't prevent downloads to your windows folder and not blocking connections to you DP.
