SCCM-SQL 2008-Reporting Services point
Hi all, I have SCCM R2 with SP2 server and SQL 2008 with SP2 hosted on a seperate machine. Can I use Reporting Services point role with SQL Server 2008.Is it supported. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Yes but you must use the default Instance for Reporting Services. SCCM 2007 R2 Reporting Services doesn't support Named Instance. Hi, Yes you can use SRP role with SQL 2008. It's the same steps that SQL 2005 except that with SQL 2008 you cannot deploy report models created by using this version to the ConfigMgr console. If you have created report models by using SQL 2008, you must access them by using your SQL Reporting Services Web site.
