SBS 2003 Sharepoint 2.0 migration to Server 2008 R2
I am a newbie to Sharepoint, so please excuse my ignorance. I am suddenly placed in a situation where I need to migrate a Sharepoint 2.0 site from an SBS2003 server to a standalone Server2008R2. I really don'y care which Sharepoint version goes on the new
server, it just needs to get off the old box. Any suggestions as to the best path?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Hello,
First run the SharePoint prescan Tool:

Next determine the type of upgrade you want:

The two supported optiosn are in-place upgrade and database attach upgrade. There are pros and cons to each; you will have to decide which works best for you.
