Hello, i create a rule that runs a script. I need that the script has to be run by another accout. Because the account that runs the script now is action account

You need to add a secureReference context to the rule.Microsoft Corporation

Hi If this is script based then would you consider a monitor rather than a rule? You could have a healthy unhealthy state depending on the result returned. In which case this might help: http://cid-3ac99c5995164f2b.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/files/Steps-to-Associate-Run-As-Account-to-monitor.1.0.pdf This gives a great run through of using a script based monitor: http://blogs.technet.com/b/stefan_stranger/archive/2010/01/21/opsmgr-sql-full-or-differential-backup-check.aspx Cheers Graham View OpsMgr tips and tricks at http://systemcentersolutions.wordpress.com/

On most rules, you can specify the Run As Account on the wizard. I guess the script based ones are the exception (which is why I was wondering if you could change the check to be a monitor rather than a rule). Cheers GrahamView OpsMgr tips and tricks at http://systemcentersolutions.wordpress.com/
