Run PowerShell script on remote server
Hi, We have a VMware service that occasionally stops on one of our server, when this stops it causes our XenDesktop VDi machines to stop responding, to start them all back up again we start the service backup again automatically with a recovery task on the server this service fails on, what we'd like to then do run a powershell script on a completely different server that automatically restarts our VDis, what's the best process for running this PowerShell script on a different server to where the original service failure happened? Thanks

Windows PowerShell supports remote computing which means you can run powershell on different computer For detail pls. refer to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd819505.aspx For how to create a powershell recovery task pls. refer http://www.server-log.com/blog/2012/9/18/running-powershell-scripts-as-recovery-tasks-in-system-cente.html Roger
