Role Based Access

Hi,

I have inherited a SCCM2012 R2 server and upon taking a look I can see that the previous administrator has only granted himself access, therefore I used his account to access the management console. I then went into: Administration>Security>Administrative Users but there is no option to add user or group at the top, I looked at the following website for this information:

http://jackstromberg.com/2014/08/system-center-2012-r2-the-user-account-running-the-configuration-manager-console-has-insufficient-permissions-to-read-information-from-the-configuration-manager-site-database/

Also confirmed that the account I am using is in Administrative Users roles within SCCM, can anyone advise?

When looking at Security/Administrative Users, there's a column for "Security Roles"

which accounts have the Security Role of "Full Administrator" ?  that's the account name (or members of that group) which will be able to add User or Group.

Hi Sherry,

I am aware of that, there is just one account and it is the one I am logged in with. Not sure why its not letting me add other accounts or groups in?

Is that account member of the Full Admins (as Sherry already asked)?
