Restoring Doc Library wss3.0
So I've never restored a document library before but I figured it was easy through the recycle bin. One of our users accidentally deleted a doc library from one of their custom sites. I checked the users recycle bin and found nothing. I
found it deleted though in the site collection recycle bin. SO I hit restore and it restored.
However when I go to click on it...it takes me to the edit details page.
http://theunion/sales/WarrenFL/_layouts/ListEdit.aspx?List={5C9A3DFF-11C1-4B45-9775-CEB0605AB652}
If I click on the document library from there (from the breadcrumbs) it takes me back to the main intranet home page. Basically even though its restored, its like it doesnt exist, or the link is broken, because I can't click on it.
ANyone have any ideas?

It's no help to you at all of course but I thought that the only things you could restore via the SP recycle bins were documents - not lists etc.
I would delete it again. Re-create it manually and if you want to recover the documents that were in it, then set up a temp server with the same level exactly of WSS/MOSS and restore a backup to it which includes that doc lib. Then using two browser
copies copy the files across Explorer View to Explorer View and the metadata Datasheet View to Datasheet View when using the same view (sorted in the same way) 2010 Books:
SPF 2010; SPS 2010; SPD 2010; InfoPath 2010; Workflow etc.
2007 Books:
WSS 3.0; MOSS 2007; SPD 2007; InfoPath 2007; PerformancePoint; SSRS; Workflow
Both lists also include books in French; German; Spanish with even more languages in the 2007 list.

Thanks Mike.
I have backups using the stsadm command but have never done a restore.
stsadm -o backup -url http://theunion -filename c:\backup1\backup_%timestr%.bak
I can setup another wss 3.0 site I guess, but how would I do the restore from these *.bak files? Thanks in advance
