Responsive Taxonomy Picker

Hi all,

I am creating a responsive web application on top of SharePoint and need to get my taxonomy picker to be responsive. I have tried using the client side taxonomy picker (synonyms not currently supported), and even the out of the box column in a form, but can't seem to make either taxonomy picker responsive. The client side taxonomy picker is listed here and maintained by the Patterns and Practices team, they stated that the taxonomy picker is not responsive and that with CSS I may be able to get it to work, but I have had no success:

https://github.com/OfficeDev/PnP/tree/master/Components/Core.TaxonomyPicker

If I can't get this to be responsive, does anyone have any guidance for creating a nested select box with the terms (possibly pulled via REST or JSOM).

Thanks!

Hi,

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to create a responsive taxonomy picker.

If you have tried the Client side taxonomy picker and OOTB taxonomy picker control, but they are not respnsive. I suggest you can use JSOM to get all the taxonomy term from term store and then push the value to a select box using Jquery.

Here are some code demo for your reference:
