Resource picker filter
Hi, Is it possible to exclude certain people from the resource picker? My goal is to have certain users excluded from the results when you use the resource filter to add members to a group manually. I've seen an stsadm command that lets you set the SharePooint people picker to only look in one OU. (I'm assuming FIM works the same?) However, that wouldn't work for me since what I'm really looking to do is exclude an OU rather than just include a particular OU. I appreciate any help. Many thanks, Sami

By editing the Resource Control Display Configuration (RCDC) for group creation / editing, you should be able to specify a specific search scope for the identity picker that could automatically filter out users that you don't want to be avialable. The portal doesn't really organize the users into OUs, but you can filter out the users based on any of the available information in the portal. There's some good documentation on TechNet and some very good blogs available on custom RCDC configuration. Do some searches on this site for RCDC. Here's the TechNet site. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff393653(WS.10).aspx MarkMark Creekmore - Blue Chip Consulting Group

Thank you! I didn't even think about RCDC. I appreciate the help and will check that out.
