Reset Self-Service answers
Our admin left the company without leaving any clear cut documentation about the self-service portal. I need to know how to reset an end user's answers to the self-service portal. Thanks in advance

Do you mean that you want to populate the answers for the user, or that you want the user to have to set up the answers again? If you want them to set up the answers again, I got the idea from the thread http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ilm2/thread/4d413527-d100-4b00-aa5b-a269dd16d927 to just answer the questions incorrectly enough times to lock them out of the self-service reset, and they will be prompted to set them up again once they are able to log in.

if you want to clear existing registration data and ask everyone to re-register, simply modify the AuthN WF. In the first tab of the popup, there is a checkbox which says Require Re-registration. Check that and submit. All existing registration data will be gone. User will be asked/required to register next time logonThe FIM Password Reset Blog http://blogs.technet.com/aho/

You could also provide the users a shortcut to "mspwdregistration -all" If they execute that from a workstation with the password extensions installed, they will be prompted to re-enter their answers.http://setspn.blogspot.com

consider -all is a debugging/troubleshooting hook and don't use that in productionThe FIM Password Reset Blog http://blogs.technet.com/aho/

Clearing out answers for ONE particular users is not supported. Contact PSS with your business justification and we will prioritize that request accordinglyThe FIM Password Reset Blog http://blogs.technet.com/aho/
