Ok, I will bite, how exactly are you deploying software?

Why do you need to add this user to 300 collections?

this request is not for deployment purpose, let me give a short summary, we have a test account(user name based) in our environment to which every package is deployed before putting to production, by mistake i have deleted the user account however got it back doing AD sync, but as per client requirement need to have this user account available in all the existing collections which are around 300.

For a single collection i generally create Direct Membership rule and add the user name by selecting

Resource class: User Resource

Attribute Name: User Name

Value:

So why not use a security group for this? This will allow you to quick add / remove someone.. using Direct membership has a fairly high overhead if you are not careful.

i agree with you, now that the damage is already done, would require a script to fix this one , thank you

Everything that you need will be in the SDK. I would also look for Greg Ramsey book , the demos within the doc might be able to help too.
