Requested value 'Integrated' was not found.
When I attempt to open a .rdl file report in SQL Server 2008 Report Builder 2.0, I get this error. Requested value 'Integrated' was not found. ---------------------------- Deserialization failed: Requested value 'Integrated' was not found. Line 5372, position 36. Not sure why this is happening. I am using the VS 2008 Shell Ver 9.0.30729.4462 QFE to create the reports. I read an earlier post with this issue, but there weren't any solutions offered. Do I really have to go into each report and change the value to Windows in order to get this to work with Report Builder? I've got over 30 reports.

Hello, If you get that message the the report was created with Report Builder 3.0, not 2.0. In RB 3.0 the element <rd:SecurityType>Windows</rd:SecurityType> changed to <rd:SecurityType>Integrated</rd:SecurityType> You could try to edit the RDL file with a text editor; no warranty it will work. Hi, The error is caused that the report is created in Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) of SQL Server 2008 R2. For detailed explanation, please refer to the similar thread at http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlreportingservices/thread/e0d5f57b-0689-415e-a8af-a7c47917f92d/ As you posted, I’m afraid you need to Security Type to Windows manually for each report. Please also be aware that only the report that doesn't use the new features of Reporting Services 2008R2 can be opened in Report Builder 2.0. As an alternative approach, I would suggest you use Report Builder 3.0 instead if your Reporting Services version is 2008 R2.
