Request State Store fails with NoReply error from the MP in Native Mode

Hey guys, I'm running a native mode installation of SCCM 2007 R3 SP2 and I'm trying to do a State Capture using the SMP on a particular machine. This process has worked previously, however lately I'm getting errors when attempting to do a Side-By-Side migration. I've created the computer association between the source and destination machines and when I run the task sequence on the source machine, the Request State Store step fails with the following error: Sending request to MP SCCM.CONTOSO.COM. Unknown error (Error: 00004005; Source: Unknown) TSManager 09/06/2011 1:00:24 PM 5264 (0x1490) Looking at the server, the MP and SMP components are healthy (or at least reporting that they are). MP_Location.log, however is spitting out these errors: StateMigCaptureInfo::QueryDBForStateMigInfo failed with error (80070057). I have found that: Re-issuing the client certificate Re-installing the SCCM client using the SMSSIGNCERT=path\to\smssigncert.cer and RESETKEYINFORMATION=TRUE Re-creating the Computer Association between source and dest machines ... will allow it to successfully contact the SMP and complete the task sequence. The Client Push wizard does not specify a SMSSIGNCERT or RESETKEYINFORMATION and if I try to repair the client using this method, the problem persists. I've encountered this error on two XP SP3 machines. Both of these machines have successfully completed this process before. Any insight as to why this may be happening is greatly appreciated.
