Reporting with default user blocked until admin user starts reporting one time
Dear all, the following environment we have:- Windows 2008 Server (not R2)- SCCM 2007 R2 SP2- SQL 2005 SP2- Reporting ist configured to page: http://servername/SCCMReporting All runs on one System. Only the DP is on another file server The problem is the following:On the SCCM Server, the reporting point in installed and seem to be full functional with my admin user. From the sccm system itself and from my client, I am logged in with my admin account, tooSo, wenn I log on a client with any default user (rights for accessing the reporting are granted), the IE reports error 500But, if I start the reporting from any system with my admin account and then retry on my client, the reporting opens correctly. After waiting 20 minutes (session time out from iis), the same problem occurs. To access the reporting with a default user, a admin must start reporting one time directly before the user does. Error tracing on iis shows me, that every access to the client comes with 'anonymus' rights. Not with the logged on user accout. Hi, Have you added user to SMS Reporting Users Group on ConfigMgr Server ? Have you tried to remove and install Reporting Role again ? Also can you check the SMS_Reporting_Point under Site Status and SMSReportingInstall.log For more info : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb632630.aspx Thanks. Bechir Gharbi. Hi Bechir, thanks for your fast reply. Users are already added to SMS Reporting Users Group locally on the Server.Removing and installing Reporting point (also with new Name/URL) does not helpLogfiles an Reporting of are full ok. Only the attached IIS Logs does not look so fine. ThanksMarius
