Reporting dashboard/landing page
Hi, I have a cube built with SSAS. I want add reporting functionality. I need a web portal with a landing page. The landing page must contain an overview that can be drilled down to view more granular detail. What sort of technology do you guys suggest to accomplish this? Thanks

Hi, You could create reports using SSRS and deploy the reports in sharepoint. Additionally you could use Perfomance Point Server 2010 or excel. HTH, RamRam

Hi Terramorphus, Just like Ram's advise you can make use of SQL Server Reporting Services as front page, as SQL Server Reporting Services could also retrieve the datasource from SSAS's cube. In SQL Server Reporting Services, there are many features like drill-down or drill through function you can use. Before this, I would recommend you read this white paper about Analysis and Reporting Services, Design and Implementation: A SQL Server 2008 technical case study.
