Reporting Services VS 2008 (SQL Server 2008R2) Integration with SharePoint 2010 - Parameter is missing
Hello
I have finally integrated Reporting Services VS 2008 (SQL Server 2008R2) with SharePoint 2010. I can deploy reports to the SharePoint libraries no problem.
The issue I am having is that when I have a dataset that passes in a global variable (such as Report Name or User ID) and either have these as a hidden
parameter or a visible one, when the report is deployed to sharepoint and run it has not passed this variable/parameter in (they are blank). It has no problem populating the other drop downs that don’t rely on a parameter to be passed into it.
I have read the link below (and links inside this) and its not the same issue I am having, as I can get to the parameters and set them as use default
or over ride on standard parameters, but those that require say an internal global variable the list is empty and the report errors with

Error

The report is missing a parameter value but prompting for it has been disabled.
I have reports that do not use parameters to populate the dataset and this work fine. We use the Report Name global parameter to pass into a stored
procedure to bring back report details held in SQL , such as the owner of the report, date created, signed off etc. Global parameter User ID is used to pass the users AD details who is running the reports into a stored proc to determine what they
can see in a drop down...
Please can anyone help?
NB: When I run it from the back end report server I also get an error
The 'ReportDisplayName' parameter is missing a value
