Reporting Services Preview View different from Print Layout
I'm currently using Sql server 2005 Reporting Services. I'm trying to take data and fill in a form that I'm making a background image. When I go to preview all the textboxes filled with data align with the fields in the background image form. When I go to print they are off by a inch or so horizontally. Can anyone help me on this topic.

Hi Lukebe, Did you ever resolve this one? I am trying the exact same thing as you. In preview mode it looks great--when I upload it to the reportserver the text boxes not only are off horizontally but they appear to have random widths (meaning the top textbox is twice as wide as the second textbox which is a different width from the next textbox and so on. In the report these are set to be exactly 2 inches wide each. So I am confused why I have the variable width. The other interesting thing is that if I send the report to a printer it prints perfectly eventhough it looks wrong on the pc. thanks! Nate

Did either of you resolve this issue? I'm also experiencing something similar -- I'm trying to hide rows of data and toggle them on off. In Preview mode it works perfectly -- the hidden rows are suppressed so that the first visible row underneath these hidden rows is snuggled up to the data row above the hidden rows. When I moved it to our Reporting Services database, there is a big gap in the report where the hidden rows are, so instead of suppressing the rows altogether, it literally hides/makes them invisible, and then displays whitespace on the page. -- NOT COOL!!
