Reporting Services Error
I have SBS 2008 (comp1) and installed SQL on the additional Server 2008 Std (comp2). I did the SQL installation not with the local administrator account but the administrator account of my SBS, i.e. [domain]\[admin]. Now on comp2, i.e. where I installed SQL, when I navigate to http://comp2/reports I get "User [domain]\[admin] does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed. The interesting part is that when I navigate to the same URL on comp1 there is no error. So what is going on on comp2? Also should I have installed SQL with the local administrator account instead? Btw, in Reporting Services Configuration Manager under web service url I only see port 80 assigned and not SSL. I assume that is ok. In addition, in IIS there is only the default website and port :80(http) is assigned to another applicaiton (CRM). Since there is no issue from comp1 I assume everything seems to be fine here.
