My report has 3 pages and when I print 4 copies it generates pages number as 1 to 12 instead of 1 to 3 four times. Please Help Thanks

Please can you provide more information. Which version of SSRS are you using? How are printing the report? Are you using report manager, or is the report hosted in another application?Craig Bryden - Please mark correct answers

I am using 2005 version of SSRS. I have one sub report for selecting original copy or driver's copy and when i view report it displays page number correctly...Like 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4. But when I run main report it displays both the copy(original and driver) and takes total pages e.g 8. So page number on report displays like 1/8, 2/8, 3/8.....instead of 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 for original and same for driver. Even if i print multiple copies e.g 2 copies, it start from 1/16. Hi NishMiss, Generally, Reporting Services is designed to use two different rules in pagination: • Physical pagination is used to the print control and the TIFF and PDF rendering extensions. It is controlled by the PageSize properties. • Logical pagination is used to the HTML and GDI rendering extensions. It is controlled by the InteractiveSize properties. Sometimes, even though specify the same size to “PageSize” and “InteractiveSize”, we still get more pages in PDF or print. It is caused that “Margin” properties of Report are only applied in the physical pagination. In order to make the page numbers matches, please refer to the equalities below: • Width(InteractiveSize) + Margin(Left) + Margin(Right) = Width(PageSize) • Height(InteractiveSize) + Margin(Top) + Margin(Bottom) = Height(PageSize) However, the equalities above will invalid when a report which is includes subreports. Personally, I suggest you try to adjust the "Body size" and the "InteractiveSize" of those subreports and the main report. When you need to print the main report, you can click the Preview button to check the page number.
