Report viewer not displaying any data for top level portfolio(folder )nearly 30000 records
Hi, I have reportviewer control on reportsviewer.aspx page..where i am showing all my reports. Reports accepts some parameters like portfolioName, depth, etc.. From above screens if i select root and show report it is giving empty after 1 min 30 sec but i tested directly from reports server it is working fine but taking 6 min (nearly 30000 records in my case) but if select any sub folder then it is working fine even it is taking 2 to 5 min(but less than 10000 records) Please can some one help me , Thanks

Hello msdn good, From your description, the possible cause is that the custom web page is timeout to fetch the report, and stop rendering work on local, so that it returns empty result and have less time on execution. However, the small dataset will be loaded to the local and the browser may spend some time to render the content from HTML to visible information. That's why they need more time. In order to narrow down this issue, please try to set the <httpruntime> on the web.config file to enlarge the execution time. We suggest you can set the value as same as the report manager server. <system.web> ... <httpRuntime executionTimeout="9000" /> ... </system.web> If you have any questions about this issue, please tell us. Dear Edward, I changed time and set the same time in reports manager server but it wont help me . my data retrieval time is more than 6 min and total processing time is nearly 7+ min. but mean time it is showing empty(after 3 min nothing is happening at report viewer )please can you suggest me any solution.m y
