Report on machines with Update installed which is not in SCCM

Hi,

I've found reports to show which machines have specific update installed when that KB update is present in SCCM but I would like to find one or two KBs which are not in SCCM and see how many machines they are installed on. I couldn't see a built-in report to do this? Can anyone help?

Thanks,

If Win32_quickfixengineering is enabled in Inventory scanning then you can generate a custom report

Hmm, thanks Vinod, looks like that could be a little bit of a pain:

Why is that a pain?

You can also use Compliance Settings if you want to check for the existence of a patch.

Just because of the workload it creates really.

Wouldn't the software update have to exist in SCCM to create a compliance setting for it?

Forget about that tiny workload.
There are many ways to create a CI/baseline, one is using a custom script (which queries win32_quickfixengineering on the client).

Hi Vinod/Torsten, where do you enable inventory scanning for Win32_quickfixengineering? Is it in Client Settings > Software Inventory?

Do you have any links to custom reports/queries I can download which show updates that are installed. Basically we want to track down any machines with the Windows 7 tracker updates:

Thanks
