Hi, when i navigate to http://servername/Reportserver , i am unable to see the report i have on this server. It displays only 26 October 2010 13:23 <dir> Data Sources where as it should also display to me ILM_HR_Report which is what i want to see 26 October 2010 13:23 <dir> Data Sources 26 October 2010 13:23 <dir> ILM HR Report I have ensure that the login in SQL has read permissions on the database from where data is being read. In Report Manager a role has been created for this login with all permissions (browser, content manager etc...) Not sure what am i missing here.

http://<server>/ReportServer is Report Server web service URl the behaviour what u've observed is certain . Can you try using http://<server>/Reports Thanks . Rajkumar Yelugu

Hi Rubsay, Can you check if the permissions at the report level are different from the folder level. Security at the report level might not have you set up to access the report.

Not sure what changed after the i returned back to work the next day, but everything is ok. I am able to see the report!!!

Must be security permissions at the report level :)

Well i realised what the issue was. At the SQL level, i had just added myself to a group. I had to log off and log back in to bring that into effect! Ofcourse that happened in the morning the next day and hence i was able to see the report!
