Are you just trying to set a default? If so you gp preferences. Reporting on it will be hard because it a user setting, not a machine setting. John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum/|

Hi john, One question...cani create a report to search the specific JPEG file in the registry, and from it create the report for my manager, is it possible?

You could also use DCM to query the registry. This will generate the reports. DCM won't be able to set anything though, that's where group policy or software distribution would have to come in.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys

As Jason said DCM can do that. Sherry has some blog posts on adverting a vbs script to machines to pull local user data into inventory. John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum/|

You could also use regkeytomof.exe to pull the registry settings for current user(HKEY_CURRENT_USER) to list the desktop wallpaper settings(HKEY_CURRENT_USER\CONTROL PANEL\DESKTOP\) Look at this blog http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/skissinger/archive/2011/02/18/mark-cochrane-s-regkeytomof-v2-6.aspx //Eswar Koneti @ www.eskonr.com
