On a number of reports I'm writing, I keep getting this error. It will say "the value expression for the textrun (some report element) is invalid", or "the value expression for the textrun (some report element) uses a numeric aggregate function on data that is not numeric". In both cases, the element it references either no longer exists, or there is no expression in the object. I've even searched the report code and can't see anything wrong with the textrun, if the element even exists. Any ideas?

Hi Derek, The easiest thing would be to delete the item that has the invalid expression attached to it. It might not be a direct expression on the item. For example, it could be a property expression like the color expression that is attached to the item that is invalid. If you can't find the item called "textrun", try searching for it in the Properties Window. You'll should see a dropdown box at the top of the Properties window that has a list of all the items in the report. Check if your "textrun" item is there.
