Report Viewer Control
I'm asking this here and not in: Visual Studio Developer Center > Visual Studio Forums > Visual Studio Report Controls > because questions regarding the control have not been answered for years. Yes years, not an exaggeration, years. Even simple questions like when will the RTM runtime be released aren't answered. The control has not been compatible with the MS Entity Framework, VS10, MVC3, or MVC4 Has the runtime report viewer control been abandoned by MS? Does the VS team and the SQL Server team hate each other, not talk to each other, or is there some other childish issue?

I think the new Report Viewer 2012 Runtime was release with Visual Studio 2012. Now it was made available as a separate download at MICROSOFT REPORT VIEWER 2012 RUNTIME Update: As I can see the Report Viewer 2012 Runtime released with Visual Studio 2012 is older than the newly released Report Viewer 2012 Runtime from the web. The new runtime is version 11.1.3010.3. Probably it comes as an update since SQL Server 2012 SP1 was released.

The control has not been compatible with the MS Entity Framework, VS10, MVC3, or MVC4. Has the runtime report viewer control been abandoned/depreciated by MS? You still can't print in anything other than IE according to the documentation. Does the VS team and the SQL Server team hate each other, not talk to each other, or is there some other childish issue?
