This is SSIS not SSRS forum. Not sure how did you access and what happened on the second attempt (no errors either)?Arthur My Blog

Actually I removed my admin account from local server administrator and added a group account, where my admin account is a member of the group, after these changes the 'Site setting ' gone missing. The idea of the changes were, using the group account as the BUILTIN\Administrator of the Server. Any thoughts??

Hi swordfishhh, Generally, we can use the Site Settings page to change the application title, set server-wide defaults for report history limits and report processing timeout values, manage system-level role assignments, and manage shared schedules. Firstly, we should have System Administrator permissions to view this page. Based on your description, if you need to use the Site Settings page, you should assign the System Administrator role for users or the group account firstly on Report Manager. In addition, the group account should be in the same domain or in a trusted domain. For more information about Setting System-Level Permissions on a Report Server, please refer to the article below: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa337385.aspx If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
