Report Model Project in SQL SSRS 2012
Hello,
I am trying to create a report model in SSRS 2012. Unfortunately the option create new report model project is not avaialble any more. How can i create a report model in this version?

Hello Andreas,
In SSRS 2012 Report Models are deprecated. Existing model will still work, but you can't create new models.

Thanks for your answer. So the concept of ad hoc reporting cannot be applied in the 2012 version? Is theresomtehinbg similar that has substituted the concept?

Hi andrikos,
Yes, report model are deprecated and they should be moving to BISM\PowerPivot and looking at the options we have there for doing reporting on top of it(Excel,Power View).
