I need advice on this issue. We have a web application which is complexly designed and i want to simplyfy report viewing via report manager. We have a set of dynamic reports which the users select feilds thru a series of drop down buttons.. Can i create something similar in report manager using report builder/report model. I would need to have a list of drop down boxes which can do wild card searches and then generate a report.FM

Hi Farhan1, According to your description, you would like to create a report in reporting services that can be generate after select fields through the drop-down list, and can do wild card searches in the drop-down list, right? Please correct me if my understanding is wrong. If that’s the case, I am afraid it cannot be achieved in reporting services at present, if you have any concern about this, please submit a feedback at http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/Feedback and hope Microsoft improve this feature in the next service pack or product release.
