Report Builder 3.0 and SQL Server 2008
Is there any way to use Report Builder 3.0 with SQL Server 2008 (not R2)?

Hello, Do you mean Report Builder 3.0 with SSRS 2008 as host for the reports or SQL Server 2008 as data source for the reports? As data source for the reports you can use any SQL Server version as you like, to host the reports you have to use SSRS 2008R2 or 2012.Olaf Helper Blog Xing

Ok, I think this is good enough, using as a data source. The actual thing I need is to build reports to Dynamics CRM (integrated report building tools of it are not good enough), so is the smartest solution to use Report Builder 3.0, save as .rdl files and import to CRM, or is there something even more direct way to do it? And yes, I realize this part of the question might need to be in Dynamics CRM forum, so I totally understand if you are not familiar with its environment.
