Report Builder 3.0, Long alphanumeric column when selecting Fields
ColumnA | columnB 1021021 | AA9HRVM.yMDE.yMTA0M.j.k.xN.jY= ------------------------------------------------------------------- Report Builder 3.0 How it occurs: -deploy report model -create a report from the report model -at "Design a Query" window when you select fields of the particular entity from the fields window. -It creates an extra column out of nothing ("ColumnB" usually this name will have the name of the entity itself ) with a long alphanumeric vlaue as shown above as an example. -Most importantily if you select two or more fields and drag it to "Drag and column fields" window, it is happening. Any Idea is helpful Dani dani

Hi Dani, It's true that an extra column will be added automatically as long as we drag more than one attributes of an entity into the Design Area, and the name of the column is the same as the entity name. This is by design. We can also find the same behavior from the screenshots in the following article: Report Model Query Designer User Interface The extra column doesn't affect the query design. If you have concerns on it, you can delete the extra field from the dataset Properties window after the dataset is created, or drag the fields one by one when design the query.
