Hi all, I'm setting up a reporting environment with SQL Server 2008 SP 2. Is there really only text based queries with Report Builder 2.0 hitting Oracle? That seems like a huge problem. Am I missing something? This seems like it would render the product fairly usless outside of spoon feeding reports to users. Thanks JBS

Report Builder doesn't have a graphical query builder for Oracle but you can use third party tools for creating RDL reports. Google for Pebble Reports.

If you have any concern about this, submit a feedback at https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/Feedback and hope microsoft enable this feature in the next release. In addition, i would suggest you create a report model based on Oracle data source using BIDS so that the users can build the report dataset from the report models within a graphical query builder. thanks, Jerry
