Replication recovery in progress

Dear all,

The replication status of the Parent site for the linke between my primary and secondary site in my SCCM 2012 hierarchy keeps displaying "Replication recovery in progress" after a successful restore. I have done this restore a month ago. Everything seems to work ok, but reporting. I have uninstalled reporting and will re-install it later, but it still keeps saying this. the child site has status "Replication active. Did I mis something? I have a single primary site with 1 secondary site, so I also think it is strange that for the Parent site it states this. Anyone has any idea what I can do to make it "Replication active" again? The objects on the tabs "parent site" and "child site" are all green. The components status is also all green.

Have you already started Replication Link Analyzer? What does it tell?

Hello Torsten, thanks for your reply. I forgot to mention that. The replication link analyzer shows me everything is ok. Could it be something that is stuck in the DB?

Why don't you run the stored proc spDiagDRS to see the replication status on both of your site databases?  The following blog may also be useful to you http://blogs.technet.com/b/sudheesn/archive/2012/10/21/drs-initialization-in-configuration-manager-2012.aspx

Sorry to not reply earlier, but I have been busy. I have been looking at the article and ran the SPC. It gives me the following output:

I tried the suggestion of putting for example configuration data.pub into the inboxes\rcm.box folder. Nothing happens for several hours.

When I look at the \inboxes\rcm.box folder, I can see that the "cabfiles" folder was last updated 2 months ago (when all the problems began). I can also see that the \inboxes\hman.box has folders that are last updated exactly at that time. The inboxes\despoolr.box has a backlog of files from the date it went wrong until today.... So It does not process all the update files. Seems my replication and processing of data is not running at all. Anyone an idea where I can start troubleshooting this?

Edit: I can see that the despool.log keeps generating errors like these:

Site currently is in maintenance mode and D:\Serverapps\Microsoft Configuration Manager\inboxes\despoolr.box\receive\20799ut2.sni is not DRS init or certificate exchange package, backup it until site becomes active.

Maybe there are some corrupted inbox files? I would not think that because of the replication status, but maybe someone knows more about this.

Niels BR,

Did you ever find a solution for this. I am having the same issue :-/

Thanks,
