Hi All, We have some of the custom management packs created some time ago. But now we would like to rename the management packs (custom) with a new client name. I can change the display name. But I cant able to rename the exact management pack name. Any help on this is much appreciated. Thanks, SaravThanks, Sarav

you'd need to: - export the mp - delete the mp from scom (because of this i'd consider to accept the old name). - rename the exported xmlfile to newname.xml AND the name of the managementpack in the manifest > identity to match the newname. <Manifest> <Identity> <ID>newname</ID> <Version>1.0.0.4</Version> </Identity> - import the newname.xml Rob Korving http://jama00.wordpress.com/
