Removing a Column
I did a search and cannot see someone posting this question.
I created a custom list (Issue Tracking) in SharePoint 2007 , I added a column called "Contact Name" from existing site columns to see how it would look like and now when i go into it I cannot delete it. I've gone in through advanced settings
and hide the column but i would like to permanently remove it from the list?
Is there any way to do this? or am i stuck with it in my list?
Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, i've overlooked it is a site column. Nice workaround for doing so: go to the edit-column page (where the delete-button is missing) and just empty your browser's URL line and enter
javascript:DoDelete()
and press enter and confirm.

I tried javascript:DoDelete() and confirmed the deletion and it came back with:
Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object.
Tried refreashing to see if it deleted anyways.... But it's still there :(
