Removing SharePoint site access restrictions
My SharePoint site is on a server that cannot be access by anyone but us. So there really isn't any need to lock the site down. How can I remove site access restrictions yet keep restrictions such as editing the site look, feel, content, etc.

the eastiest way to accomplich what you are looking to do is give NT AUTHORITY\authenticated users to the visitors group in sharepoint. Depending on how many sites you have you many need to write a script to do this

Hi JFlesch, Thank you for your post. Perhaps you can do this by making some changes of the Access Control Settings. Could you please check the following article: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint-server-help/roadmap-for-giving-users-access-to-sharepoint-server-2007-sites-and-site-content-HA010248689.aspx; http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/sharepoint-portal-server-it/access-control-and-windows-security-HA001191154.aspx. Hope this could help you. Regards.
