Hi Guys,

Would removing a collection rule from a device collection remove existing devices in the collection or would the devices remain until manually removed?

Reason for my question is, I would like to carry out a test but,  do not want any new servers added to the collection until I complete the test. At the same time, do not want existing devices removed.

Yes, if you remove a collection membership rule the devices that are part of that rule will not be a member of that collection anymore.

Thanks a lot Peter. Is there any other way to approach the above scenario, as I do not wish to create a new collection for the new servers

I would create a test collection that you use for testing purposes and simply add the members that you want to test on.
