Removing BPOS Sign In Application From Multiple Machines using SCCM 2007
We've recently transfered from BPOS to Office365 and a part of the transfering we need to remove the Sign In Application. I'm looking for a good solution of removing BPOS sign in application from multiple machines. I've searched the internet but i couldn't find any article about it. I'm looking for "how to" manual to remove BPOS Sign In Application with SCCM 2007 R2 on Win server 2003 R2Yohanan H Mothda Sys Admin Nana10 corp

How would you remove the application manually? Is it registered in "add/remove programs"? If so: create a collection that contains only computers where the application is installed and advertise a program that contains the uninstall string (msiexec /x <GUID>)Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

What messages are you getting in the logs? check the ccmexec and the execmgr on one client machine. also check the all advertisement report and see what message you are getting there must be a switch issue. I'm uninstalling from a logon script. msiexec /x \\fsx-svr1-zatl\Applications\BPOS-Client\OnlineServicesSignIn-en.msi /quiet /passive /qn If you've misplaced the package, I imagine you could probably download a fresh one. Mount it somewheres, and then run the string above. I would also recommend adding a line for removing some of those pesky registry keys that interfere with Office365 Outlook client configuration. Something like: %systemroot%\regedit.exe /s \\za\netlogon\BPOScleanup.reg Where BPOScleanup.reg looks like this: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover] "zooatlanta.org"=- "PreferLocalXML"=- "ExcludeHttpRedirect"=- "ExcludeHttpsAutodiscoverDomain"=- "ExcludeHttpsRootDomain"=- "ExcludeScpLookup"=- "ExcludeSrvLookup"=- "ExcludeSrvRecord"=- "ZeroConfigExchange"=- Good luck, and happy migration clean up. With the lack of straight forward information from Microsoft, our transition has been rather painful.
