Remote Tools on Windows 7
We're in the process of testing Windows 7 and I just ran into a problem connecting to any Windows 7 computer using SCCM 2007 Remote Tools. It returns "unable to contact host". I can remote to Win XP computers fine. On the Windows 7 computers I've disabled UAC, turned off firewall and made sure remote control is enabled. I can ping the Win 7 computers and also use RDC to connect fine. ???

My Systems Center Configuration Manager shows Version: 4.00.6221.1000 Your configmgr is SP1. So, to use remote control on W7 x86 machines by configmgr SP1 you should install this hotfix on W7 machines http://support.microsoft.com/kb/974236/en-us or if your w7 is x64 you should upgrade your site server to SP2 then upgrade configmr clients (also strongly recommanded for w7 x86) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee344152.aspx Bechir Gharbi.
