Remote Desktop Licensing
I am about to purchase some user CALs for remote desktop for a server 2008 R2 and I am being told by the company I am purchasing the licenses through to get Software Assurance because of SQL Server 2012 coming out. My question is why would remote desktop
need SA for SQL Server 2012? Is he trying to sell me something I do not need?

This isn't a SQL Server forum. I'd suggest contacting Microsoft licensing directly or your account manager.Steven Andrews | SharePoint Professional | http://www.twitter.com/backpackerd00d | https://baron72.wordpress.com/
