Remote DP, Failed to Run Task Sequence

Hi,

I have a LAB setup, site to site link and created a DP. This DP has been domain joined, all packages has been distributed on this DP. When pxe boot a machine it through a error message after PXE password that task sequence can not run policy not found for this PC.

TS was advertised for All systems and All Unknown systems. Any special considerations for remot

The problem here is not the DP. The fact that your client was able to PXE boot, it means that your PXE DP is good.

Your client machine does not have any policy targeted to it.

When you created the TS deployment, did target it to PXE and media?

Is this an unknown machine? If not, do you sse it in All Systems?   Also, make sure the deployment is targeted at PXE like kerwin said.

YES, TS was targeted to PXE and media and deployed to All Systems as well as to all Unknown Computers.

It is strange that the PXE server thinks that the client can boot (which means that there is a deployment for it), but when the TS client actually runs, it could not find the deployment.

Can you please post the complete SMSTS.LOG and SMSPXE.LOG files?

I would like to match the two log files to see where the discrepancy is.

One more question, are you using DHCP Option 66/67 for you PXE setup?
