Frist of SCCM Remote Control / Tools is completely different than Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). In order for the Remote Control from SCCM to work port TCP ports 2701, 2702, and 135 need to be opened http://myitforum.com/myitforumwp/2012/05/10/configure-and-use-remote-control-in-sccm-2012/ In order to RDP to work port 3389 needs to be opened this is the default port RDP uses http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Remote-Desktop-Connection-frequently-asked-questions. If your trying to use RDP to remote into from the internet your firewall needs to allow 3389 if your on a home network you would need to forward 3389 in your router to the internal IP of the machine you want to use then use the public IP of your router to RPD in:  http://windows.microsoft.com/is-IS/windows7/allow-remote-desktop-connections-from-outside-your-home-n

Hi,

No, the computer where you run the admin console and initiates the remote control session will contact the Client computer on port 2701 for remote control and 3389 for remote assistance, if the client is behind NAT you will not be able to remote control it as the traffic will not reach the client.

Hi

I have the same problem, I have a help desk running the console from outside the network, have published NAT server via a link, the help desk console runs smoothly, when I try to connect to a client via remote control does not work, I can do to fix this.
