RemoteApp webpart and Claims Authentication
hi, i've a little problem with my sharepoint foundation 2010. when i create the portal, i choose the claims authentication because i want a form when the external partner want use my website. when i try to implement the TSWebPart, remote app of windows server 2008 r2, sharepoint crash with this error: The "TSPortalWebPart" Web Part appears to be causing a problem. Unable to cast object of type 'Microsoft.IdentityModel.Claims.ClaimsIdentity' to type 'System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity'. Web Parts Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this page to temporarily close Web Parts or remove personal settings. For more information, contact your site administrator. i suppose a permission issue, but the sharepoint was created with a dedicated AD account and i can't resolve the problem. what i can do? tnksS.Net MCITP Enterprise Administrator - MCTS Operations Manager 2007 and Exchange Server 2007 S.Net Blog WindowServer.it WebSite WindowServer.it Learning Portal

their are a solution http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=518d870c-fa3e-4f6a-97f5-acaf31de6dce&DisplayLang=en and try to find the Step_by_Step_Guide_to_Customizing_TS_Web_Access_by_Using_Windows_SharePoint_Services.doc it will help you. another trick i found is for the 2007 but i believe it will work for you: Delete TSPortalWebPart and reset IIS as Daniel stated. Re-add the TSPortalWebPart back to the web part gallery. Now here’s the trick and I’m sure it will be different depending on how your site setup. Add the TS Web Access web part to your top most site (for me it was the MOSS Server home page). That’s it! After that you can remove the web part from the top site and add it to any site you want. hope this will work thanks -ws i am at SharePoint administrator

1) i know what the guide say....but i've a problem with the tswebpart, not with the configuration. i haven't problem with sharepoint in default secury configuration, but not with claims authentication 2) i can't remove the tswebpart because a can't open the web site the problem is the type of authentication....S.Net MCITP Enterprise Administrator - MCTS Operations Manager 2007 and Exchange Server 2007 S.Net Blog WindowServer.it WebSite WindowServer.it Learning Portal
