Reinstall SCCM Secondary site
Hi, Two of our Secondary sites are not working from last couple of days so we have to renstall them. Kindly reply my below queries. Can i use the same site code / hostname as i am not going to format the current OS. What are the steps to uninstall SCCM Secondary site. as per my understanding i have to uninstall it from Secondary site server add/remove program / delete it from primary site admin console (delete site). if i will use the same site code, do i have to delete the site code preinst /DELSITE SiteCode ParentCode. Hi, 1) Don't reuse the site code it will just lead to confusion. 2) You can delete the site from the console. Right click the site and select Delete (this action will start a wizard). If the wizard don't delete the site correctly use preinst.exe Kent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/members/Agerlund/default.aspx | The Danish community for System Center products

You don't have to, but it's always better when starting from scratch.

Dear All, I think this is the right place to put my query regarding re-installation of SCCM secondary site server. Currently SCCM is installed on C-Drive of the server. The DP shares are also hosted on same C-Drive. Now we need to move it on to another drive. As Backup and Restore do not work for secondary site, I am thinking of uninstall and re-install the secondary site. Can anyone suggest me what is the best method of acheiving this. What are the precautions to be taken before doing this.
