Although you can use the package created during installation and software distribution to push the hotfixes, you can/should just modify the Installation properties field on the Client tab of the Client Push Installation Properties under Site Settings -> Client Installation Methods. Simply add the PATCH= public property for the updates you want to add to the installation.
